  • The TS8000 is a high-performance graphical operator panel with many built-in functions. Available in five screen sizes, from 3.2" to 15", the TS8000 offers most of the features typically available on PC-based SCADA systems. The TS8000 HMI can communicate with different hardware through 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports and high-speed RS232/485 serial communication ports. In addition, the TS8000 operator panel features a USB port for fast downloading of configuration files and access to stored trending data. It also includes a slot to accommodate a CompactFlash card, for storing process data and expanding the memory available for configuration files. Unlike similar competitive units, the programming software for the TS8000 is a free download - this software works with all TS8000 units and features user friendly drag-and-drop data mapping. It contains a powerful set of icon-based configuration, display, control, and data logging tools - uniquely designed to take full advantage of the TS8000 series architecture. For harsh environments where abrasion to the screen surface is a concern, we offer protective clear film overlays for the TS8000 screen. Available for all five sizes of TS8000, the overlays are packaged in bundles of 10. By use of a pre-applied low-tack adhesive, application and removal of the overlay is quick and easy.

    In addition to the standard on-board communications provided with the TS8000 (RS232, RS485, and Ethernet), Parker also offers optional communication cards, allowing even greater connectivity and integration of the TS8000 into many popular fieldbus communication networks such as CANopen, DeviceNet, FireWire, Link and Profinbus-DP. The integrated protocol conversion also allows the TS8000 to bridge between devices that otherwise could not communicate directly with each other.

    Steel rear metal enclosure with NEMA 4X / IP66 aluminum front plate when correctly fitted with the provided gasket. Installation category II, Pollution degree 2.

    Mounting requirements:
    Maximum panel thickness is 0.25 inch (6.3 mm). For NEMA 4X / IP66 sealing, a steel panel with a minimum thickness of 0.125 inch (3.17 mm) is recommended.

Its sophistication also makes all the leading edge capability of the TS8000 manageable, with user-friendly drag and drop data mapping. DSI8000 works with all TS8000 HMIs. Initial set-up of DSI8000 is very easy and virtually self-explanatory. DSI8000 is a powerful set of icon-based, configuration, display, control, and data logging tools uniquely designed to take full advantage of the TS8000 series architecture. Most applications can be quickly set up using the step-by-step process to configure communications protocols, define data tags, and create a user-friendly interface. A full complement of drag and drop graphical symbols yield professional results in record time. Advanced features such as programming, data logging, and configuring the TS8000's internal web server are intuitive and easily enabled.
